Lily, Orkidedatter is well known as «the dark soul from the white Arctic» or «the black rose» or «a from winterwonderland» out there in the world because of her dark and mysterious writings. She is a poet and author who bleed letters on a blank canvas from her soul and heart. Through her art you can glimpse her dark soul, but her vividly Spirit colors it with the spark from the rainbow.
From old childhood memories and flashbacks she found her inner child when she was a grown up and as a healing journey she are using art to heal wounds and scars from much pain to let them grow and she is learning to live with a past a little child should not experience.
Lily step into a separate universe, her own galaxy of imagination and feelings that are expressed through her fingers or paint brushes and other painting tools on the canvas.
Abstract is close to her heart. She bathe in an orgy of colors which explode when they hit the blank canvas. Her own wobbliness of thought, her consciousness or unconsciousness and emotions reach a separate level of a landscape from her mind when a painting comes to life.
Lily’s heart and soul dance to the rhythm of her pulse and the beat of her body, where colors and patterns are transformed into a proof of her artistic expression.
As an artist, Lily want to visualize something from deep within. How you interpret it, what you see, what you feel and what touches you, it is up to you the moment her art is discovered by you.
If Lily can touch another person with her images in the compass of the soul and the root of the heart, then Lily’s work as an artist is worth more than you can imagine.
Lily hope that her art will become a small part of someone’s life, as she give a little piece of herself in every artwork, every time a new work is finished.
